The Story of This Home
Hidden behind a bamboo grove on the outskirts of Kyoto, this former tea master's home has been restored to its original meditative simplicity. The roji garden path leading to the tea room is unchanged from the Meiji period. We restored the home in 2024, working with a specialist in sukiya-zukuri architecture.
